Hey lovelies, it seems like such a long time ago when I took these picture of this gorgeous summer dress. Now were in the middle of a lockdown and I am praying for normalcy again. This pattern was one the first pattern I picked from the McCall spring/summer collection of 2019. It was a dream to put together and I thoroughly enjoyed sewing something without sleeves for once. I used this gorgeous stripped twill fabric from MOOD. I Love the fabric, but beware I had no idea twill frays like crazy I had to overlook all my seems before sewing. 

I normally shy away from shoulder strap Sundresses. I thought I would struggle to make it modest and also I wasn’t always a fan of the shirt under a dress look. However, now I am completely sold. It such an easy dress to layer up. Here I just paired it white blouse from H&M and heels. Definitely looking forward to doing more a of relaxed style look for the summer with sandals.
